Publish raw images to Adobe Stock
In the previous release of Bridge CC 2015 version 6.3.1, a new feature was introduced that allows
you to easily upload your JPEG photos to Adobe Stock using the new Publish panel. In this release
of Bridge CC 2017, this feature has been extended to support uploading of raw images to Adobe
Stock from within Bridge.
Now when you drag a raw image from the Content panel onto the Publish panel, Bridge displays a
dialog to confirm the conversion of raw image to JPEG for upload. Once you confirm, Bridge
converts the raw image to JPEG using the Camera Raw plug-in. The uploaded JPEG image
(converted from the raw image) appears on the Uploads page in the Adobe Stock Contributor portal.
Search Adobe Stock
In addition to searching for assets in Bridge or on your computer, you can also use the Quick Search
box (on the right side of the Application bar) to search for high-quality Adobe Stock illustrations,
vectors, and photos. When you search, the results appear on the Adobe Stock website in your
default web browser.
To switch your search between Adobe Stock search and Windows (Win)/Spotlight (Mac) search

file format before making any adjustments. Adobe Camera RAW is an Adobe Photoshop plug-in that
enables you to access raw image formats generated by a wide collection of digital cameras, without
having to use third party converters.The plug-in is able to work with raw files created by Canon, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Olympus, Ricoh,
Samsung, Leaf, Leica, Panasonic, Sigma, Sony, Casio, Mamiya, Nikon, Pentax, Contax, Phase One,

Adobe Dimension is a powerful and user-friendly utility created to help you speed up the process of
designing 3D photorealistic package and product art from scratch, such as mockups, advertising
shots, logos, and branding, even if you have little to no previous with similar solutions.
With the help of the Adobe Dimension design software solution, you can create lifelike looking 3D
objects using materials described in Adobe Standard Material based on NVidia's MDL (Material
Design Language).
Design 3D models with realistic lighting
All models you create in Adobe Dimension use 3D lighting which closely follows realistic lighting for a

Adobe XD CC (formerly known as Adobe Experience Design CC) aims to provide full support to UX
designers that are trying to improve the way in which users interact with their product. The app
allows you to develop both websites and mobile apps and helps you test the outcome and generate
prototypes.
UX design tool that can help you develop projects for specific devices
Right off the bat, Adobe XD CC makes you decide if you want to develop projects for iPhone, iPad or
web. In addition, you can opt for custom size boards. However, within the designer area, you can
add artboards of various sizes.
The Adobe XD CC user interface is separated in two main tabs: one that allows you to deal with the
design aspect of your project, and the other to help you configure the associated prototype.
Adobe XD CC permits you to test the outcome in a separate window, and you get to both interact
with and record the activity and share the capture with your client or other team members.
Manage your design projects with intuitive drag and drop movements
Within the Adobe XD CC canvas area, you get to add new elements with the help of basic vector
drawing tools, combine them any way you like, import images with simple drag and drop actions,
create wireframes, and so on.
The same rules apply when adding interactions and animations to your project in the prototype area.
Just establish connections between your artboards using the mouse, and employ the contextual
menu to manage the animations.
Worth mentioning is that, since the Adobe XD CC project is still under heavy development, some of
the editing functions one would expect are not yet included, but working with the application is quite
intuitive.
Share your project's prototype via the Adobe Creative Cloud
Adobe XD CC allows you to export your project's design to a PNG image file, or you can record your
interaction with the prototype to an MOV video file.
Nevertheless, you can also use your Creative Cloud account to share the prototypes directly with
your team. Just use the Share command to generate a public URL and preview the prototype in a
web browser.

Dropped support for QuickTime 7 era formats and codecs:
Adobe continuously aims to keep up with the most modern workflows and support formats and
codecs broadly used across the professional film and video industry. As a result, future
versions of Adobe Media Encoder, starting with version 12.1, will no longer support legacy
QuickTime 7 era formats and codecs. Professional codecs typically found in QuickTime movie
files, such as ProRes, DNxHD, and Animation, are not impacted by this change. These
codecs are supported natively in Adobe Media Encoder.

Crashes, hangs, failed import, or export issues:
Adobe Media Encoder crashes while exporting to OP1A codec with certain project files.
Adobe Media Encoder crashes when smart rendering QT-wrapped AVI files.
Exporting an After Effects composition within a XDCAM MXF source will fail in Adobe Media
Encoder.
MKV import does not work on Windows.
MXF files cannot be imported.
Unable to import HEVC source in mkv container.
opencl_runtime crashes macs with NVIDIA GPU when encoding H.264 source to interlaced.
Most of the H.264 encodes fail with Android preset.
When you import a group of files, they are imported in a wrong frame rate.
H.264 shift or encodes frames entirely out of sequence.
XAVC encodes to 2K or higher presets fail immediately.
Audio portion of certain ProRes MOV files in AAC audio fails to import causing an encode
failure.
Sequence with nested sequence exports only the nested sequence.
Adobe Media Encoder quits unexpectedly after selecting or deselecting Use Camera
Orientation option in RED R3D Source Settings dialog.
Adobe Media Encoder crashes when you press enter key after scrubbing timecode for a
YouTube custom thumbnail frame.
Caption related issues:
Burn-in Caption disappears in the middle of output video if you use parallel encode.
EBU caption options are displayed on non-EBU media when a EBU preset is used.
Captions in a project do not show up in the timeline or on export.
Workflow and User interface related issues:
Drag and drop from Character Animator to Adobe Media Encoder results in a "source is
empty" error.
Can't change Format/Preset for multiple jobs in the Queue panel.
HEVC: Range of the bitrate option does not change in time as you switch the Tier option.
Incorrect Work Area is shown for a project.
Popup Menus with System Context Menus are not scrollable.
In H.264 and HEVC, the sample rate option disappears after switching from SurCode into
AAC or MPEG audio codec.
Publish related issues:
Switching channels from the Channels menu in YouTube settings does not update the Status
string until you close and reopen Export Settings dialog
Twitter character limit should be increased to 280 instead of 140
YouTube and other publish destinations timeout during login (HandleTokenRequest Error)
For better user experience, privacy options given in EXPORT Publish panel should match with
FACEBOOK privacy options.
Miscellaneous issues:
Preview window shows media pending message after re-importing valid output
Blurry/pixelized file icons appear in media browser
BMP and GIF format images are not supported as custom thumbnails for YouTube upload on
Mac OS, but they are supported on Windows.
[HEVC] 2 frame offsets with new HEVC codec
XDCAMHD 422 vbv_delay overflows while smart rendering
Encoding into MPEG2 CBR generates blurry image few times a second.
